What you THINK you BECOME (Buddha)
Truly truly you can not think happiness and be sad. And you can not think sadness and be happy;
so its all about what you choose to feel. But whatever the circumstance you will always be entitled to what you feel. So no one is responsible of how you are feeling unless you allow them to do it.
And as for happiness; its always found in what we have where are. But still we can not be happy if we are never comfortable with what is at hand. The very first tip of happiness begins the very moment we learn to focus on what we already have and quieting the mindset that just wants everything. And worse still, once we get that something we've been longing for, another want quickly creeps in; and consumes us; and gets us restless to the very day we get the want, and the cycle continues. So when will we ever focus and be happy with what we already have, to enjoy and savour every moment. But anyway not until this proverb sinks in; a bird in hand is worth than two in the bush
There is no apt time to be happy except NOW. Never postpone what makes you happy. Seize each moment and the happiness it tags along. Delve into the happiness and let it consume you. Life is too short to be sad and to wait to be happy. There is no better way than the way of happiness. Its well said by Alfred D'Souza;For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin-REAL LIFE. But there was always some obstacle on the way, something to get through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to paid; Then life would begin. at last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.
LIFE HUSTLES AND BUSTLES CAN NOT STAND ON THE WAY OF OUR HAPPINESS ANYWAY THEY ARE THERE TO LAST. THEN WHY COMPROMISE OUR HAPPINESS...ANNET NYATICHI
Never wait to be happy. Be happy now.
Happiness is a self proclaimed character. Life hustles and bustles can not stand on the way of our happiness.Anyway they will always be there to last. No one owes anyone their happiness
And as for sadness it can authentically be replaced with happy thoughts. However, to overcome the sad feelings one has to practice ignoring what makes them sad. And this doesn't mean that you are not justified to be sad when someone makes you their doormat and treats you like gutter in the street. Or it doesn't mean that our lives are crisis free. Of coarse crisis will always arise, and to be candid there are many crisis in comparison to happy occasions. But when it comes to dealing with what stems up the sadness its ideal to learn to dismiss, ignore, pay zero attention and treat it like a trivial matter. And the punch line is FORGIVE QUICKLY; MOVE ON; LET GO; LET GOD
Remember, that what you practice more is what you become. You practice to feel good and you become happy. You practice to nurture and analyse thoughts that weigh you down and make you feel bad then automatically you engage your sadness gear and you become sad; and when you are sad you are more likely to attract and tag along more sad things.
Whatever feeling you choose to tolerate, you are entitled to it.
