GOD WILL NOT FORGET YOU

Its been a long way coming before I fully comprehended the meaning of the phrase," GOD WILL NOT FORGET YOU!" I have been in and out of so many perils and after sometime, when everything is back together I forget and move on. I never take time to really evaluate how I got out of the situation. Yes, when I am faced with hard rocks I do pray and ask God to see me through and after that...

 I was having this Bible study with my church pastor when he mentioned that God sometimes uses bad situations and builds something good out of them. But when we are faced with problems, rarely does this click to our minds. Most of the time, we concentrate too much on the pain we are going through and this exacerbates the situation anyway. But we have our own perspectives and view  when faced with situations and God has His own perspective of the very same situation.

But its imperative to always remember that God is not a limited God. We only limit ourselves when we forget the fact that our problems through Gods view are pint sized no matter how gigantic they appear to us. And again, God never forgets when we tell Him of our situations, no matter how long it will take for a solution to be provided, God still has the issue under purview. Sometime the lags before the solution is finally availed is meant to teach us something.

Isaiah 49:15-16 Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See I have engraved you  on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
WHAT AN ASSURANCE!

Many a times we see our problems to be times infinity, but how does God see them? (Pint sized???) This can be alluded to the lesson peter learnt during the stormy night at the sea of Galilee. Matthew 14:30

The enormous winds that had accrued created an atmosphere of fear and panic.  But how does Jesus respond to the situation? Through a simple act of stretching out His hand and catching him, Vs 31

Fear and panic as a result of being skeptical about God's ability to solve our situation blocks our minds by making us to forget that God will always be there for us ( Not a very pretty picture!)

Psalms 121:1-4
Vs 1; I lift up my eyes to the hills-where does my help come from?
Vs 2; My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
Vs 3; He will not let you foot slip- he watches over you and will not slumber;
Vs 4; Indeed He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep

  1. This is exactly what I need at this point of my life. This week has been hectic, painful and stressful for me. I have prayed like never before. But still I had some part of me accepting that may be its the plan of God for me to go through what am going through. Thanks for reminding Me that God will never leave me or forsake me. And letting me know that behind every struggle and difficult situation, God is working out something good for me. I really feel encouraged..Many thanks indeed

  2. Typical human nature. Pray when in need. When our prayer has been answered we tend to forget God.

    1. I hope we never forget. That in good times we are always grateful to God and so when bad times creep in we have no doubt because we are assured God will handle.
