NEXT TO UTOPIA

   What comes into your your mind when all you read and hear of  in the news is full of negativity. The unending war in Syria, the escalating hunger situation in Northern Kenya, mysterious disappearances and so many untold atrocities. Just so many turmoils now, because we forgot that peace, love and  unity were supposed to be actions and not just mere words. 😒😒😒

So we can never create that perfect world, but maybe something close to perfect is achievable and realisable.

I thought what the world would be like if we engaged in some acts;
  • Art of  Sharing
Imagine the food you gave to a hungry person, the clothes you shared to a child exposed to cold, a visit to the hospital, orphanage and that one kind deed to an old person.

"Put a smile on someones face today with whatever kind deed that can touch them in ways you can not even comprehend,"

  • Be an emblem of peace
Good if we choose our words carefully in times of conflict.

When mistreated, do you speak badly about that person to others? Because how you speak in times of conflicts gives a great insight to your integrity.

"To slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility towards all men" Titus 3:3

  • Embrace altruism

That the purest forms of altruism be those kind deeds to strangers and random people.Do you ever find yourself in a conversation with someone going through a hard situation and when you disperse you feel drained? This is the exact point and moment that we should leverage our strengths to show concern for them.

        Do not wait further,NOW is the apt time! Seize it

  • That your kind deeds may be iterative
With hope that our acts of benevolence will be a long time endeavour that will be instilled in us and passed to the next generation and the next. In most occasions we are rocky with all the good initiatives we start due to many reasons. But, I know for a fact that if we further our efforts towards doing our kind deeds, they became ingrained on our daily routines.

  • Be the difference

Do not wish that someone else gave food to the hunger stricken; that someone helped a sick person; that  a good Samaritan offered clothes to those without; that donors provided for the orphaned child. Let that be you in whatever small way.

"Learn your strengths and use them to give humanity a meaning,"

                                             Annie!!! 💗💗💗
